Nanjing University of Science and Technology is excited to welcome Bian Buyi from Université Paris Cité（Paris） as a visiting scholar to the Innovation Harbor, where he will bring his exceptional skills and diverse interests to Prof. Gao’s esteemed research group. Born in the 1990s known for his meticulousness, supportiveness, and perennial curiosity, making him an excellent addition to the academic community.

Bian Buyi is particularly renowned for his expertise in AutoCAD modeling, which he complements with a passion for photography. At Innovation Harbor, Bian will engage in critical research on thin-film fluoride ion batteries, contributing his talents to design sputtering masks for the group. His contributions are expected to significantly advance the understanding and application of this promising battery technology.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Bian finds solace and inspiration in nature. He enjoys hiking and capturing its beauty through his camera lens. His hobbies extend to amateur astronomy, gardening, baking, and mixology—activities that offer him creative breaks and keep life vibrant and engaging. Additionally, Bian enjoys tinkering with electronics, embodying his love for exploration and hands-on experimentation.
